Cellina Zayya

Cellina holds two degrees from the University of Wollongong, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance, majoring in Finance and minoring in International Economics (with Distinction).  She achieved outstanding academic results.  She also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law.

During the completion of her degrees, Cellina gained three years of experience in the financial services industry, assisting Australian Financial Services Licensees with their obligations under the Corporations Act 2001 and ASIC Regulations.

Since joining Brander Smith McKnight, Cellina has been successful in providing expert assistance and advice with regards to financial services and the regulation and licensing of activities that are defined as financial services.  She has assisted with the review and drafting of various documents, including construction loans, personal guarantees, bank guarantees and shareholder disputes.

Cellina is a highly valued lawyer in both the Commercial and Civil Litigation and the Building and Construction teams.  She has a rigorous and analytical approach to each of her matters and strives for excellent outcomes for her clients.
